With 36 years of professional experience, Andrew is no stranger to municipal public works and leadership, especially when it comes to coordinating multiple technical components to arrive at a solution. He is familiar with the town’s Zoning laws since he currently serves as an alternate on the Zoning Board of Appeals. If elected to an official seat on that board in tandem with a seat on the Board of Assessment Appeals, Old Saybrook will benefit from the fullest expression of his experience and expertise. A Civil Engineer by trade, Andrew’s background is more than technical: He’s a hands-on homeowner who has taken on his own home improvements and truly understands the concerns of property owners.
Andrew believes that governments should treat people fairly and not allow for favoritism as decisions are made. Winning a seat on the board will allow him to practice his values by focusing on the facts of the case. This ensures all residents are treated equally and fairly when they seek a decision.
